1990 Honda CBR400RR

This is a little racing street bike know for its rear suspension (Gull - Arm), for its 53HP and
it 14,500 RPM redline.  Driving this bike is like being on rails, the center of gravity is so low
and when moving it feels very light.

For some reason this model was never brought to the United States.  This bike found its
way here through someone in the military stationed in Asia.  This was his second
CBR400RR. His first bike was crashed while overseas and later used for parts. What was
left of the first bike came with mine and I did receive a great deal of parts (thanks Brian).

The gears are the closest of any bike I have ever ridden and when I first began riding it, I
actually questioned if 3rd and 4th gears were the same gear, as the revs drop only a few
hundred RPM.

When the motor hits about 9,000 RPM there is a slight hesitation as the cam goes through
a flat spot and then it pulls cleanly to 14,500 RPM, very quickly.

If you have the chance to ride one of these, I highly recommend it.
