1995 Triumph 1200 Daytona
It is truly amazing there is no information about this motorcycle on the
Internet. This motorcycle came to me with less than 4,000 miles on it
and looking brand new. The only modification the bike received was
D&D Mufflers (plus grips) that was described by the previous owner
to add a noticeable amount of power over the stock 147HP.
I have been riding this bike now for a little while and it is as distinct a
ride as it is in looks. I absolutely love the look of it and have since
the first time I ever saw one in 1995. Once I started riding this bike it
became obvious, the torque on this bike was greater than anything I
had ridden and that no matter the gear or engine speed, the motor
pulls with surprise. Advertised at "under 500 pounds", (not a chance)
this is a large and very heavy bike. It was only after becoming
comfortable on it that I began leaning it over and over it went with
ease farther and father with comfort and the security of a true sport
bike.
These bikes trade way below what anyone who ones one thinks there
worth and if you looking to own a bike to enjoy, this is an all around
different, inexpensive, fast sport touring bike. The one problem, it
finding one ... Good luck!!!
Motorcycle.com did a comparison of this bike against others in 1995
and this link is the most information I was able to find online. If you
are an owner of one of these, know of a link on the Internet or have a
story, please send it this way
Thanks,
Greg
